Dr. Stephen Sinatra is a world-renowned physician, author, speaker and teacher of practices for achieving and maintaining maximum heart health and overall health. His multidisciplinary approach to better health uses the best of both conventional and alternative medicines. He describes himself as an “integrative cardiologist." Not only does he treat patients with prescribed pharmaceutical drugs and state-of-the-art medical techniques, but he also recommends mind-body activities designed to reduce stress and anxiety, in combination with all-natural nutritional therapies that promote and enhance cellular metabolism and delay aging.
Dr. Sinatra was drawn to become a “people’s doctor” who cares deeply about his patients. While practicing traditional medicine early in his career he was moved by how many of his patients were lacking in cardiovascular health (as well as overall health) and were not fully treatable through conventional means.
He began to explore health relationships between the mind and the body (a field of study called “bioenergetic analysis”) as well as nutrition, diet and exercise. He became interested in how conventional medicine could be blended with alternative methodologies for a holistic path to better health. These alternative methodologies included ways for reducing stress, anxiety, and worry, as well as improving nutrition, diet and exercise. His approach was designed not only to treat existing health issues more effectively, but also to actively and preventatively improve people’s quality of life through better health.
Dr Sinatra’s work led him to understand how certain supplemental vitamins, minerals and nutrients, combined with lifestyle improvements, could positively influence cardiovascular and general health. This led him to develop and recommend all-natural nutritional vitamins and supplements to his patients as part of their daily routine. Every nutritional supplement or lifestyle change that Dr. Sinatra recommends is taken or employed by him in his own life as a testament to his conviction.
Dr. Sinatra describes his philosophy for heart health as preventive or metabolic cardiology. Regardless of the words, his philosophy is effective.
